Life these days is a tangled mess of academic burdens and extracurricular commitments. Professors’ lessons seem like mystical incantations flying over my head, leaving me clueless on how to manage it all. But, despite this, the Invisible Chai Girl is determined to push through, no matter how busy life gets. The roller coaster ride has just started gaining momentum, and giving up is simply not an option.

Daily struggles may seem mundane, but the behind-the-scenes moments are where the real fun lies. My technical skills need serious improvement—a fact driven home recently when I forgot about a competition idea I was supposed to brainstorm. Amidst all this chaos, it's a wonder I remember to write this blog, yet forget everything else. But that’s the magic of it, isn’t it? In the midst of all the confusion, there’s always something that keeps you grounded. For me, it’s sharing my experiences with you.

Today’s blog topic? Garba night! As Navratri approached its end, we hadn’t yet experienced a garba night. It might not be mandatory, but I believe it’s essential for anyone who loves exploring new experiences. My batchmates and I had spent hours preparing for a college garba event, perfecting our dance moves to popular songs. Coordinating everyone for a garba dance is no small feat—it's a blend of music, energy, and precise footsteps.

Despite our excitement and effort, our college canceled the garba event, leaving me utterly disappointed. So many preparations, costumes, jewelry, and practice sessions, all seemingly wasted. But then I realized: nothing we learn in life ever goes to waste. Those dancing skills might come in handy later, and we mustn't disappoint ourselves when plans go awry.

Two days later, my friends planned a city garba night outing. Initially, I had no interest, still reeling from the earlier disappointment. But I reminded myself that opportunities to explore the world shouldn’t be missed. With renewed enthusiasm, we donned our costumes and jewelry, ready for the event.

My roommate Luci, our third roommate Rosi, and I were fashionably late for the metro, but previous experience helped us reach the station on time. The station was alive with students in vibrant costumes, all heading towards the much-anticipated event. At the venue entrance, a massive crowd awaited entry. Though crowds aren't my favorite, I managed with my friends by my side.

As soon as the music reached my ears, my legs began to move. Garba seemed to flow through everyone’s veins. We joined the crowd, ensuring we stayed together, and soon entered the rhythms of garba music. The experience was nothing short of magical, especially with friends by my side. We danced our hearts out that night.

Attending such a big event with friends was unforgettable. Everyone should experience this at least once in their lifetime. For me, it might be my first and last garba night, but it taught me to explore life with a broader perspective. And so, says the Invisible Chai Girl.

Navigating through the tangled mess that is my life these days has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride. Between the overwhelming academic burdens and the whirlwind of extracurricular commitments, it feels like I'm being pulled in every direction. But still this Invisible Chai Girl would continue embracing the chaos around her.
